Course Description
This course is designed to give students hands-on experience with state-of-the-art video and audio production equipment. We will also address the roles and responsibilities of on-camera talent which will include script writing, story board set-up, and acting. Finally, the entrepreneurial skills involved in marketing class produced films will be incorporated. All of these skills will be used to create and market such things as commercials, end-of-the-year school hi-lights, and the senior graduation video.
*Participate actively in all classroom modules and discussions.
*Successfully prepare for and take tests and quizzes.
*Meet deadlines as required of all field professionals.
*Cooperatively work with all members of the crew.
*There will be additional time requirements for all students. In other words, before school or after school time which may include filming extra-curricular activities or working in the production lab. For seniors, this will possibly involve returning to school to finish projects during the week before graduation.
